Amorphis, Leprous and NahemaH have begun their European tour, ending this month and passing through 12 countries, including two Romanian cities. The first stop is at Sibiu in Oldies Live Music Pub on November 8 and the next day, November 9, the tour reaches Bucharest at the Silver Church Club.

The first band hitting the stage comes from Alicante, Spain, plays since 1997 and they have released three albums so far. NahemaH will play a setlist including songs from Chrysalis, The Second Philosophy and A New Constellation. Fans of metal genre with modulated and progressive elements will listen to a new constellation of metal music. The NahemaH concert will start at 19:30.

The news that Leprous will be the opening act for Amorphis’ European tour generated applause from the rockers. For many the return of Leprous in Romania is the concert of 2011. The band will promote their latest album, Bilateral. Their music is a compilation of styles, including progressive rock, jazz and pure metal.

With the two concerts in November at Sibiu and in Bucharest, the Finns will have responded for the fourth time to ARTmania’s invitation: in 2006 at the ARTmania Festival in Sibiu, in 2008 at Romexpo (with Haggard) and in 2009 at Arenele Romane. The Beginning of Times, the tenth album released by Amorphis is considered their most ambitious project done in their 20 year career.  The new album by Amorphis, inspired by Finnish mythology, has the hero Väinämöinen as its central figure, with a fascinating story put in words by Pekka Kainulainen, one of the most appreciated contemporary Finnish artists. The album remains true to the Amorphis style, with its well-known dark rock melancholy and progressive influences, with a twist of doom and folk. The Beginning of Times was number on in the Finnish album chart.

Tickets are available online at,, and in Eventim distribution networks and Diverta bookstores for 75 lei in advance and 85 lei on the event day.
