The festival’s sixth edition offers the public three concert areas in Sibiu, exhibits, releases and workshops, as well as a Harley Davidson motorcycles exhibition. The most loved brand in the world comes at the most loved festival in Transylvania with a Harley Davidson exhibition, a parade of the motorcycle community and many other surprises for the festival’s public.
The ARTmania Festival takes place in the second week of August (8th – 14th August 2011) and presents a cultural program adapted both to the public and to the medieval citadel, featuring concerts, exhibits, and special events dedicated to the belles- arts. The concerts in the Large Square will take place on Friday and Saturday, the 12th and 13th of August. This year, six important names of the international rock scene will hit the Large Square stage: Lacrimas Profundere, Helloween and Tarja on Friday evening and Republica, Sonata Arctica and Lacuna Coil on Saturday evening. The Harley Davidson stand will be placed in the Large Square, and the parade will start on Saturday at 12:00, with the finishing point in Dumbrava forest, at the festival’s open door arena: ARTmania Festival Arena 2011. The motorcycles will return to the Large Square around 16:00 to start the Saturday evening concerts.
Harley Davidson Motor Company was founded in 1903 and over the years it has become emblematic for a large range of motorcycles, as well as accessories, clothing and protective equipment. Harley Davidson is a legendary brand that has influenced whole generations of bikers, passionate about the freedom sensation. In Milwaukee, US, the company has opened in 2008 a Harley Davidson Museum, which is visited every year by 350,000 people from all over the world.
Harley Davidson officially entered the Romanian market in 2007, the year when the first official sales point and has been since then, the dealer for the legendary motorcycles Harley Davidson in Romania and the meeting place for the passionate members of HOG Bucharest (Harley Owners’ Group). Harley Davidson’s mission is building a true Harley Davidson community in Romania, whose center is the HOG chapter in Bucharest, made out of enthusiastic members, united by strong values like the passion for freedom, friendship and respect.

Tuborg is the official festival beer and presents ARTmania Festival Arena in the Dumbrava Forest, while in the Small Square the public can relax at the ARTmania Festival & Granini Refreshing Area. Bilbor, the brand that brings purity from the altitude in 2011 is the Festival’s official water.
